Vendor Info Vendor Fees for a 10' by 10' reserved space on $100. July 26 - August 24 if available Last year we turned away non pre-registered vendors away at the gate, and we will be limiting the number of Vendors this year. You are advised to reserve your space early. These spaces are on the street between the concert area and the parking area, everyone who attends the festival will see your stand. You will also have a reserved parking space directly behind the vending space. We do not take any percentage of your sales. The spaces are 10' by 10'. If you need a larger space, you may reserve multiple adjoining spaces. Spaces are reserved only when payment and signed Vendor Agreement is received. Walk Vending Permit $15 in advance $35 Day of Festival This allows you to vend in the campground area only, not on Shakedown Street or in the Parking Lot. This permit saves you a hassle from our Security Force, who will be cracking down on unregistered vendors. If you reserve a spot on Shakedown Street, you do not need a Walk Vending Permit to vend in the Campgrounds, your Shakedown Street permit allows you to also Walk Vend in the Campgrounds. Walk Vending Permits will be available up to and including the day of fest.
In addition, everyone entering the festival age
10 and over must have a ticket.
T Shirt Alert: We have a great space for a T Shirt or clothes vendor. Our
clothesline has four 25 foot long lines, and is just off Shakedown Street. You
get maximum visibility and exposure with minimum setup!
The gates open to preregistered vendors only at 12 noon Friday. Do not arrive before this time. There is no onsite camping Thursday nite. The Vendor setup time is 12 Noon to 2pm Friday August 25th. Your preregistration reserves you a spot, but the spots will be first come, first served basis upon arrival Friday. If you are not able to come during the setup time, we will hold you a spot until 8pm Friday nite for an additional $25 fee, and this must be arranged and paid in advance. The festival opens to the public at 2 pm
Friday and closes 5pm Sunday. There is a Parking charge for Patrons who wish to park onsite. There is no extra parking fee for Vendors, this is included in the Vendor fee, and your parking spot is reserved behind your vending space. However, you will be charged an extra fee of $25 at the gate if your vehicle is over 20 feet long. Our attendance in the last year thirteen years has been between 1200 and 3500. However, we do not guarantee attendance figures or your sales. Do you take a percentage of my sales? No. You keep all the money from your sales. Our only fee from you is the Vending Space or Walk Vending Permit, and your ticket. Are electric hookups available? No Is there potable water on site? Yes, there is water for drinking and washing less than 50 feet from Shakedown Street Is ice available for sale on site? Yes, only from the Hex Hollow Music shop. Are food vendors inspected by the Board of Health? In the thirteen previous years of our festival, we have never been visited by the Board of Health. However that doesn't mean we won't be, so food vendors should be prepared to pass an inspection. We're just coming to vend. Do we also need a ticket? Yes, everyone age 10 and over needs a ticket to enter the festival grounds. Are the vending spaces level? The entire festival site is on a hillside, so some of the spaces are not level. You are advised to bring along some 2 X 4s or similar material to level your stand if necessary. What about unregistered vendors? We will make every effort to crack down on unregistered vendors again this year. Unregistered vendors will face expulsion from the festival and be barred from future events. We have successfully shut down Nitrous at the fest. We want the dollars of the festers going to the Vendors who have registered and paid a permit fee. If you do not need a 10 by 10 space on Shakedown Street, get a Walk Vend Permit for only $15 and you will be able vend in the campgrounds hassle free.
